Former NXT Divas compete in TNA tryouts

Former Tough Enough Contestants and WWE NXT Divas Ivelisse Velez (Sofia Cortez) and Christina Crawford (Caylee Turner) competed in TNA tryout matchs earlier this month.

Ivelisse tried out against TNA Knockouts Champion Tara – who replied with : “She did very well. We’ll see what they [TNA management] say” in an exclusive Diva Dirt interview.

Christina tried out against TNA Knockout Tag Team Champion ODB – in what Tara commented on saying : “Great match with @TheODBBAM and @wwecayleeturner . Yayyyy!”

As you may remember last month former WWE Diva Jillian Hall competed in a TNA tryout match against Tara but has yet to be signed.

My Thoughts: crossing fingers all 3 are signed, they’d be great additions!

Reported reason behind Caylee Turner’s release?….

The last ever FCW Divas Champion and younger sister to WWE Diva Alicia Fox – Caylee Turner was shockingly released at the beginning of the month along with fellow Tough Enough/NXT Diva Sofia Cortez.

She never confirmed or issued a statment on the issue but like usual, the dirt sheets have reported possible reasoning behind it.

The dirtsheets are now reporting that Turner’s contract was terminated (released) because she did not have much of a work ethic and always complained about being hurt.

Now once again Caylee Turner has not issued a statment on her release, but Sofia Cortez stated that the Dirtsheets had the wrong reasoning behind her release, i’d take this with the same thoughts.

Skyler Moon removed from NXT website??…

Fans checked the official NXT website this morning and saw Skyler Moon’s profile was removed from the Diva section.

After Tough Enough contesants turned FCW/NXT Divas Sofia Cortez and Caylee Turner were released this past week, the Diva fans were not ready to say goodbye to another Diva.

Skyler Moon, formally known as Natalie and Buggy Nova just recently debuted a couple of months ago, and it was a shock to some when they saw her profile was removed.

**UPDATE** Skyler Moon tweeted the following about her profile removal: “I was not released!!! My profile is under construction :)”

BREAKING NEWS: NXT Diva Caylee Turner released?….

Caylee Turner (real name Christina Crawford) has been MIA from NXT in recent tapings and her profile was not added to FCW’s upgraded NXT website yesterday. However it was not added, her profile was still available via url link that was until yesterday morning.

Yesterday her profile was removed and all that remained was a 404 error page, signaling it was deleted. If that was not enough Sofia Cortez (who announced Sunday she was let go by WWE) and Caylee Turner were removed from NXT’s opening promo.

Caylee Turner was released back in 2010 by WWE, which resulted in her competing in WWE’s Tough Enough competition (alongside Cortez), in which she placed 4th. Turner was quickly signed back to a contract after the season finale.

Turner is the younger sister of Alicia Fox, and has said on multiple occasions that she has wanted to be a Diva since she was younger. She said she wanted to join but was too young to tryout. If Caylee was indeed released she joins the long list of WWE Diva talents that have been let go or have quit the company. As of recently she would join the ranks of fellow NXT Diva and Tough Enough alumni Sofia Cortez and AW, who both believe they were s*crewed by WWE and unfairly fired/released.

Caylee Turner has yet to make a statment on wheither she has been released, but it’s not looking good.

New FCW Diva impressing Officials??

Natalie (formally Buggy Nova) is said to be impressing WWE/FCW Officials.

She debuted at FCW houseshows a few weeks ago, teaming up with Sofia Cortez, Paige and Summer Rae on different occasions.

This is not the first rumor of FCW/WWE Officials being impressed with FCW Divas. Recently it was said WWE Officials were impressed with Raquel Diaz, Sofia Cortez and Paige’s performances on WWE’s NXT.

It is being said that Officials and some people in Developmental are excited about the future of the WWE Divas division and are happy with the group of Divas they have in FCW.

#10 – July 31st, 2011  – Naomi took on Sonia w/ Audrey Marie at ringside. Sonia, also a FCW newcomer at the time, was no match for Naomi it seemed. Within a short time Naomi was able to pick up the victory.

#9-  April 3rd, 2012 – Triple threat Divas championship match, the champion Raquel Diaz taking on Sofia Cortez and Audrey Marie. This was the first of many triple threat matchs under Diaz’s championship reign. Cortez, recently debuted before this match and Audrey had just lost her championship which made them want to impress while Raquel just wanted to hold onto her prized possession.

#8- September 25th, 2011 – Audrey Marie vs Aksana for the FCW Divas Championship. Audrey had 2 victories over Aksana the weeks prior, and Aksana was set out to prove those were flukes. While Aksana went for a spine buster, Audrey was able to roll through, get the victory and win her first FCW Divas Championship.

#7-  January 16th, 2011 – Rosa Mendes took on Kaitlyn. Rosa, was brought back to FCW to ‘regain’ the Queen of FCW crown that she desired. While Kaitlyn was a standout and winner of NXT’s season 3. These two clased in a battle of strength and fire. Kaitlyn picked up the victory with her new finisher the flatliner.

#6- January 15th, 2012 – Caylee Turner took on Audrey Marie for the FCW Divas Championship. Turner was a standout on WWE’s Tough Enough series, while Audrey Marie was doing a great job defending her Championship gold. In a match full of outwitting, Audrey was able to come out on top with a victory.

#5- June 10th, 2012 – Audrey Marie took on Paige w/ Sofia Cortez at ringside. The two were named possible contenders for the Divas championship the previous week by GM Summer Rae. While Marie was going for a roll up, Sofia made sure Paige was loosing this match – removing her hand from the ropes. Giving Audrey the win and a future shot at Raquel’s Divas Championship.

#4-  May 27th, 2012  – Raquel Diaz took on Paige w/ Sofia Cortez at ringside. The two generation Divas battled it out for the FCW Divas Championship. Although a miscue by Sofia lead to a chair being thrown in the ring – Raquel in typical Guerrero fashion played possum while Paige caught the chair. Leading to a DQ and Raquel retaining the championship.

#3-  March 13th, 2011 – Rosa Mendes took on Aksana for the Queen of FCW crown. The whole point of Rosa’s FCW return was for her to capture the crown and Aksana was standing in her way. To anyone who says Rosa can’t wrestle… they need to watch this match. In a battle of strength and power – these Divas showed that the crown was just as important as the Divas Championship. Rosa Mendes finally picks up the victory and wins her first ‘title’!

#2- July 15th, 2012 – Audrey Marie vs Paige in the first ever FCW Divas NO DQ match. For the last couple of weeks of FCWtv these two Divas have fought to pinfalls, dq’s until they made FCW history books. In a back and forth battle, the ref couldn’t stop these two from hurting eachother. Paige attempted to use a chair to no evail, Audrey ended up planting a huge ddt out of nowhere to secure the victory over her foe.
